Special One-time Measures for JEE Advanced 2022 Due to COVID-19

Candidates who first appeared in Class 12 or equivalent examination in 2020-21 and successfully registered for JEE Advanced 2021, but did not appear in both the JEE Advanced papers are eligible to directly appear for JEE Advanced 2022. Such candidates must register for JEE Advanced 2022 on the official website and pay the registration fee. This is a one-time measure valid only for JEE Advanced 2022 during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Candidates who first appeared in Class 12 in 2020 are also eligible to appear for JEE (Advanced) 2022, if they meet the following criteria:

  • The candidate should have appeared for JEE Advanced only once in the year 2020 or 2021 or, should not have appeared in both JEE Advanced 2020 and 2021
  • The candidate should meet the cut-off score of top 2,50,000 successful candidates (all categories) to qualify for JEE Advanced 2022 in their respective category
